Public consultation on transparency reporting – Digital Services Act

The European Commission launched a public consultation to collect input on a draft regulation on the templates that intermediary services and platforms will have to use for their transparency reporting under the Digital Services Act.

Building on its assessment of the first transparency reports published by Very Large Online Platforms and Search Engines, the European Commission has decided to use the powers granted by the DSA to adopt an implementing regulation. The implementing regulation will lay down mandatory templates and standardize the reporting periods for all service providers. The regulation is set to be adopted in the first months of 2024.
