A mapping exercise and survey to understand CSO responses to disinformation and challenges in the same. A key finding included that CSO’s lack sufficient access to data, data is made available in formats that are not workable, unequal access in data provided exacerbate regional inequities, and the nature of data sharing by social media platforms can unduly shape the space for inquiry by civil society and other researchers.
